Cancellation of On-site RCSummer & RCS Academy Programs
Considering all variables regarding the health and well-being of the participants, their families and the RCSummer counselor team, Robert College has decided not to host the on-site RCSummer & RCS Academy Programs this summer on the Robert College campus.
We hope to enjoy the beautiful campus together in RCSummer 2021.
Update Regarding Recent Developments
We hope you and your family are well and healthy. We wanted to reach out to you and share updates on the status of RCSummer 2020.
While we are becoming more hopeful with the positive improvements on the pandemic, the unclarity on the matter still continues. The limited information on the matter causes authorities to evaluate and make their decisions phase by phase and this has a direct effect on the steps we are taking.
Even though there has been updates on the school calendar, there seems to be no clash with ours. Additionally there are so many other variables that need to be taken into consideration in making the decision on running RCSummer 2020. As we mentioned before, your children’s and our staff’s health and well-being is and always will be at the center of this decision making process.
There has been no pause on the preparations so far; staff interviews are mostly completed, core staff is formed and the development and improvement of the program content is again continuing in their creative hands. Of course, we don’t want to give up on the kids’ opportunity to learn, explore and create however at this point in time, we don’t have all the variables set to ‘call it a day’ or ‘keep going’.
Considering all givens above we kindly expect our parents to stay with us a little while longer and wait to hear from us. For those who made the program payments in installments the new deadline is updated as June 5th.
Hoping to leave all of this behind with health and having a great summer together!
