Participants will learn or progress in knowledge about playing team basketball, while developing their own individual skills at the same time. 

Program objectives & Topics:

  • Ball Handling Skills: Learning to catch the ball properly and make accurate passes.
  • Shooting Techniques: Focusing on correct shooting form for both long and short distances.
  • Game Application: Applying these skills in 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5 games.
  • Ball Control: Developing better control of the basketball.
  • Competitive Play: Introducing competitions to increase pressure and improve team and individual performance.
  • Team Dynamics: Learning to recognize teammates’ movements and intentions to maximize court space.
  • Positioning and Boxing Out: Understanding proper positioning and how to box out based on the current situation on the court.
  • Fast Breaks: Learning how to initiate and properly execute a fast break.
  • Pick and Roll: Using pick and roll techniques both on and off the ball during games.
  • Weekly Competition: Concluding the week with a competition day to apply all learned skills under pressure.
