RCSUMMER PROGRAM 

RCSUMMER STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

RCSummer is an immersion-like summer program for young participants, grades 2 through 8. The purpose of the program is to expose participants to as much English as possible through fun and exciting activities as well as to promote values such as respect, honesty, empathy, sportsmanship, and caring for others and the environment.

PROGRAM

The carefully designed daily program of activities allows participants to make their own choices regarding most activities. Certain routines take place every day, while variety is provided with unique components spread throughout each session. Daily activities are led by a talented group of young native English speaking and bilingual counselors. An important goal is to improve the program every year through experience, expertise and dedication.

RCSummer aims to create a successful English summer program in Turkiye for young participants to experience the special RCSummer spirit through unique activities which are based on a new theme each year.

AGE GROUP

If your child will be completing 2nd through 8th grade by the first day of the program, you may apply to RCSummer program when registration opens in March.

RCS ACADEMY PROGRAM

RCS ACADEMY STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

RCS Academy is an English summer program made up of half day workshops offered by some of the best and most experienced Robert College faculty & staff. RCS Academy’s goal is to create learning opportunities for participants and offer fun and exciting workshops that will be new and different from what they are offered during the school year. RCS Academy also promotes values such as respect, honesty, empathy, sportsmanship, and caring for others and the environment.

PROGRAM

RCS Academy is an English summer program made up of half-day courses offered by some of the best and most experienced Robert College faculty, staff and club advisors. Half day courses are held between 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM and/or 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM. In addition to covering STEAM fields, the workshops also focus on leadership and aim to help participants develop new interests while practicing English. All workshops are conducted entirely in English.

AGE GROUP

The main target audience of the RCS Academy Program is 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17 year old young people. However, some workshops may also be offered for participants aged 10 and 11. To find out which age group a workshop is intended for, you can visit the Summer Workshops page. In order to register, participants must be of the age specified in the workshop details as of the start date of the workshop.
