Romina Meriç

Romina Meriç, is an art educator and visual artist based in Istanbul. In her studio practice, she works with painting, printmaking and ceramics. In her approach to guiding students through varied art practices, Romina emphasizes exploration, creativity, and skill development across a wide range of artistic mediums. From painting and printmaking to experimental techniques, she creates an environment where students can discover their unique creative voices while building a technical foundation. She leads the Painting and Printmaking Club at Robert College. Romina completed her MFA in Painting and Printmaking at Yale University and her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University. Romina also holds an introductory ‘expressive arts therapies’ certificate and integrates therapeutic approaches with arts education, to help students in this age group deepen their understanding of emotions, identity and personal expression.
