RCS Elevate

INTRODUCING – RCS ELEVATE

RCS Elevate is built on the belief that curiosity drives real learning.

This two-week, full-day program is designed for young individuals between the ages 12 to 16 (6th – 9th grade), ready to explore their interests, challenge themselves, and build meaningful connections.

Blending academic exploration, outdoor engagement, and collaborative experiences, the program creates a dynamic environment where participants grow intellectually, socially, and personally through shared ideas, teamwork, and real-world perspectives.

PROGRAM DETAILS

RCS Elevate is not a conventional summer program. It is a curated environment where students encounter ideas, test them through making, and engage with peers at a similar level. The program builds on the long-standing reputation of Robert College Summer Programs, evolving the RCSummer experience for an older, more intellectually curious group of participants.

In this full-day program that spans over the course of 10 days each day follows a carefully designed structure that balances focus, creativity, and connection. Mornings are dedicated to in-depth studio learning, while afternoons shift toward movement, collaboration, and shared experiences. Throughout the day, participants engage with both mentors and peers, creating a rhythm that feels purposeful, social, and energizing.

Your RCS Elevate offers a blended learning experience that combines academic exploration with immersive English practice through interactive activities led by international counselors and select academics from their respected fields.

Challenge is present, but it is inviting. Exploration is guided, not constrained.

RCS Elevate is designed as a high-impact summer experience where learning goes beyond the classroom. Two weeks of academic depth, creativity, and collaboration—we are empowering students to elevate not only their skills, but their perspective.

🎓 IDEAS, INQUIRY & EXPLORATION

Mornings are built around studio-based learning experiences led by educators, academics, and professionals from a range of disciplines.

Participants explore contemporary topics such as:

  • Technology and innovation
  • Social sciences and global issues
  • Creative and artistic practices

Ideas move between disciplines. Analytical work informs creative output, and creative work sharpens critical thinking. The arts are not supplemental; they are integral to how students understand and express.

Delivered across multiple sessions each morning, these studios are interactive and discussion-driven, encouraging participants to think critically, exchange perspectives, and learn collaboratively. Peer-to-peer learning is central—participants are active contributors, not just listeners.

🌲 OUTDOORS, COLLABORATION & LEADERSHIP

Afternoons shift into a more dynamic, experience-based format focused on action, teamwork, and leadership.

Participants take part in a rotating series of mentor-guided sessions that may include:

  • Outdoor and team-based challenges
  • Sports and movement-based activities
  • Creative group projects and workshops
  • Social and collaborative experiences

Participants are not overloaded; they are engaged.

Designed specifically for this age group, these sessions emphasize initiative, communication, and peer leadership, creating space for participants to support one another, take responsibility, and build strong social connections.

🎨 CREATIVE PRACTICE & FINAL SHOWCASE

Creative expression is woven throughout the program.

Participants engage in thematic creative practices—from visual arts to performance and media—developing ideas individually and collaboratively. The process is as important as the outcome, encouraging experimentation and self-expression.

The program concludes with a collective showcase, where participants present their work through performances, exhibitions, and presentations, sharing their journey with families and peers.

🌍 PERSPECTIVE, RESPONSIBILITY & REAL-WORLD CONNECTION

Through hands-on experiences and guided exploration, they develop awareness of:

  • Environmental responsibility and sustainable practices
  • Social themes and community perspectives
  • Everyday professions and real-world experiences within the city

These elements foster curiosity, empathy, and a sense of responsibility, helping participants understand their potential impact.

🤝 A SOCIAL & COLLABORATIVE COMMUNITY

At its core, this program is a shared experience built on connection.

Participants:

  • Learn from one another through discussion and collaboration
  • Build friendships across diverse interests
  • Develop confidence in expressing ideas and working in teams

By combining structured learning with social interaction, the program creates a strong sense of belonging—where participants grow together, not just individually.

🏃 MOVEMENT, WELLBEING & TEAM SPIRIT

Physical activity plays a key role in the daily experience.

Participants engage in a wide variety of activities across campus and outdoor spaces, including:

  • Team sports and cooperative games
  • Swimming and recreational activities
  • Challenge-based courses and group initiatives

The focus is on wellbeing, resilience, and team spirit, with strong emphasis on participation, effort, and mutual respect.
