
This course is designed for teens who are curious about yoga and eager to deepen their experience. Yoga is more than movement—it’s an art of living. Through working with our bodies and breath, we gain insights into the mind and how we navigate life.
Throughout the course, we will primarily explore yoga through physical practice (asana) and breathwork (pranayama). We’ll begin by cultivating body and breath awareness, which will allow us to approach poses with greater strength, stability, and ease over time. This mindful approach places the mind-body connection at its center, supporting both physical and mental balance.
Participants will learn fundamental yoga postures and breath techniques while also exploring key aspects of functional anatomy. This knowledge will help them develop a personal practice that respects their body’s needs and limits. Understanding how to listen to our bodies is essential not only for deepening our practice but also for choosing the right styles and classes in the future.
