Acting onstage teaches you how to be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences. It doesn’t only help you connect with and discover yourself, and it also provides you with tools to communicate more effectively with other people.

This practical and fun course helps you develop your confidence and creativity in using English to communicate thoughts and feelings through body awareness. The program offers a specialized approach to gaining confidence through drama and some theatrical skills, e.g. use of body language, voice, posture, movement, and many more.

Participants will have fun, discover their potential, and become aware of their performative skills. Finally, they will perform a short play at the end of the course.

After 21 years of teaching experience; as an IB Film teacher at Tarsus American College; IB coordinator at Beşiktaş Kabataş Foundation School; English teacher at Robert College; and at Koç University next teaching year, Metehan is always in search of building a more thriving life both academically and personally with his passion in teaching and learning. His interest in various forms of art; film, literature, performance, and music inspired him to blend his teaching with these great ways of expressing oneself. As a relentless learner, avid reader, and a traveler, Metehan is a big enthusiast in life, and he enjoys sharing his experiences with his students.
