Instructor
Didem Atakan
Didem Atakan works for Robert College as an economics teacher. She holds a BA in Economics from Middle East Technical University (METU) and in English Literature from Boğaziçi University. After completing her master’s degree in Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, she went to study for a PhD in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. One year into the program, she came back to Turkey in 2007 where she has since worked at various English-language newspapers as a news editor. In her free time, she likes doing yoga and trekking.
