Tim McLernon

Tim McLernon is originally from Canada. He has been a Physical Education and French teacher at Robert College for 5 years and has lived and worked in Turkey for a total of 16 years. In addition, he is a licensed basketball coach who has been coaching for over 20 years and has coached numerous players over the years who have gone on to have successful careers beyond the high-school level. As a French teacher he works closely with the French Institute in Istanbul and helps to prepare students to take the French proficiency exam DELF, at all levels of ability. He is also a passionate language learner who speaks 4 languages well. Finally, Tim also serves as the director of the highly-successful Model United Nations program at Robert College.
