Join in an exciting journey into the world of artificial intelligence (AI) with a specially designed course for middle school students between the grades 5th to 8th.

This engaging and interactive program demystifies AI, making it accessible and understandable for young minds. Students will discover the basics of AI, explore how it impacts our daily lives, and learn about the ethical considerations of using technology.

Through hands-on projects (teachable machines), they’ll gain practical experience in creating simple AI models and see how AI can be used to solve real-world problems. Whether it’s programming a chatbot, analyzing data to make predictions, or exploring creative applications of AI in art and music, students will be empowered with the knowledge and skills to become innovators in the digital age.

At the end of 2 weeks students will produce materials with different AI tools. No prior experience is required, just curiosity and a passion for learning! Join us to unlock the potential of AI and inspire the next generation of technology leaders.

Pınar Kadıoğlu
Pınar Kadıoğlu is the education technology coordinator at RC who has been working on technology integration with teachers and students for 8 years. After she graduated from Bilkent University, Computer and Instructional Education M.A., she worked for two years teaching ICT in primary and secondary school levels in private schools. During the school year she works on integrating new technologies (such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence) into the curriculum and their effects on learning. She is the author of ‘Steve Jobs Gibi Yap’ from the National Geography Kids series.
