Super Drawer Marathon is your fast track to drawing superpowers! Over the two weeks, students will focus on still-life drawing, honing their ability to capture what they see on their paper. The course will use different techniques such as speed drawing, blind drawing, and gestural drawing exercises along with individual feedback to sharpen observational drawing skills. Participants will progress from outlining to masters of form, shade, light, tone, and composition. Join us to transform the way you see and draw the world! Students will be required to bring in their own A3 Sketchpad and drawing pencil set.

Instructor
Sera Boeno
Robert College alumna Sera Boeno is an art educator, practicing fine artist, and jewelry designer. She holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College with degrees in Neuroscience and Studio Art and an M.F.A in Sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She focuses on curatorial practice, critical studies, and art education. Boeno has exhibited extensively across the U.S. She has taught, lectured, and led workshops on various traditional and experimental academic platforms including Dartmouth College, Maryland Institute College of Art, Johns Hopkins University, Kennedy Center for the Arts, Jefferson University, SUNY-Purchase, Moore College of Art and Design, and headed the visual arts departments at Terakki Foundation Schools, and Albanian College Tirana.
